Someone is impersonating New SupremeGeneral to try to steal accounts and possibly scam NEW members in other ways.  They have created a character named "New SupremeGeneraI"  (The "L" at the end is actually an upper case "I").

Please be careful of this person and never release your account information to anyone!  If you believe this person has contacted you, please use /gm_report to report them. Here is a transcript of the conversation I had with the scammer...

[11:45:57] (New SupremeGeneraI): Im trying to get a inreal friend of mine to get into darkfall

/gm_report I just got a PM from someone asking me to let them log on to my account to help show a friend the game.   The message was,I thought, from our SG (New SupremeGeleral) but I was suspicious, so I copy/pasted the name into notepad and it was a fake character with the "L" in general substituted with a capital "I".

Where: Hammerdale dungeon.

 

We will be having a pvp tournament on sunday open for all new members alike. The point of the tournament is to have fun, and improve your skills.

The rules will be explained when everyone is there and were getting ready to start. A couple of rules of course include not ganking or looting your opponent.

All other Clans are invited to come and watch the event, i have personally been in one and i found it quite fun. There will be prizes to all members that participate, and exceptionally good items to the Winner and the Runner-Up.

Also the Winner and Runner-Up will get to team up against me (Mystic Stylez) in a 2 vs 1 for a chance to win even more loots. See ya there!

A big thanks to all of our members who, despite knowing they would only be with NEW for 30 days, still pitched in and gave raw materials and gold for the creation of the Fighter's Guild.

NEW will host a tournament for all NEW Corporals to find out who's got the best PvP skills in the clan.  Prizes will be awarded from the NEW clan bank, and the winner will automatically be entered in the Server-Wide tournament that is scheduled at 6PM EST on the same day.  These are NO LOOT DUELS! so feel free to wear your most shiny gear in your fight and bring a stockpile of reagents and potions.

NEW does not seek to join or support any Alliance in the game.  It only exists to support the player base by improving the new player experience.  In spite of this, NEW can be a target for certain clans looking to prey on easy kills or because they are too fukcing weak to fight advanced characters.  Below is a list of clans that have shown excessive hostility towards NEW members. 

You should beware anyone who shows up as Red in your in-game cross-hairs.  Clans who have declared war on NEW could possibly attack you, even in protected cities!!!!
